NEW YORK, Aug. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ellevate Network, the leading community for women at work, will host its fourth annual Mobilize Women Summit in New York City next June. Mobilize Women is a movement based on Ellevate Network's purpose of achieving equality for all, by giving diverse voices, and particularly those of women, a seat at the table where decisions are made.
Designed to create a space for thoughtful discussions on pressing issues facing the world today, Mobilize Women has become the standard for diversity on stage. The event showcases thought leaders in business, media, sports, science and other disciplines and challenges the traditional way we solve problems.
Ellevate believes that when ambitious, professional women who value integrity, respect, and action get more opportunities — to have a voice in important conversations, to steer our collective economic power towards that which we care about — it ultimately benefits everyone and leads to greater equality. The summit is intentionally focused on creating space for the diverse perspectives of people who are not typically brought into the gender equality conversation and finding action-oriented solutions to some of our biggest issues of inequality so that we can work collectively to build a better world.
The 2020 Mobilize Women Summit will take place on Friday, June 26th, 2020 in New York City and will be streamed live globally to expand the influence of the movement.
"There is something ultimately powerful about Mobilize Women. After three successful years, the Summit has proven to be a driving force for change, providing action-oriented solutions and inspiration to everyone who believes in the power we have as leaders to create a world that is just and offers equal opportunities to all," said Kristy Wallace, Ellevate Network CEO. "At Ellevate, we believe we can solve any problem if we have the right group of people putting their mind, influence and social capital behind it. That's why we intentionally create opportunities for our community to find those who can support them, provide advice, and connections to a multitude of business opportunities. We believe that together, we can change the culture of business."
