We are excited to work with European Wax Center to provide the kinds of opportunities that can be crucial to career development to a more diverse community than ever before. We believe that by fostering an environment of inclusion, we will have a more positive and equal future for women in business.
NEW YORK (PRWEB) March 19, 2019
Ellevate Network, the leading network for professional women, is proud to announce that applications for the EllevateHER Program, sponsored exclusively by European Wax Center, open today, March 19th. EllevateHER will grant 250 Achiever level Ellevate memberships to women who could benefit significantly from the resources and opportunities provided by the network. The program focuses on historically unrepresented populations of ambitious women, who too often have limited access to career resources: veterans, women in career transition, those working at non-profits, recent graduates, students, and those whose current income will not allow them to join.
This year, EllevateHER is made possible through the generous sponsorship of European Wax Center. Through this partnership, European Wax Center will provide EllevateHER recipients with an Achiever level Ellevate membership, in addition to complimentary access to Ellevate events throughout the year.
“Every day we work to help our 13 million+ annual guests feel unapologetically confident. Confident in their own, beautiful skin because we believe that’s what helps women live the best version of their life. As a woman-centric brand we look to create partnerships with organizations who, together, we can help level the playing field for women. We are so proud to support 250 women in their career development through this network of smart, determined women and the EllevateHer scholarship program,” said Sherry Baker, President, Marketing and Product Development, European Wax Center.
As a certified B Corporation and Women Owned Business, Ellevate Network is actively making business decisions that are true to the company’s Values. Building a more inclusive community is core to this vision, and EllevateHER is one way of ensuring that the Ellevate community is diverse, is inclusive, and is working to bring opportunities to ambitious professional women, no matter what their situation.
“We are proud to be in a position to offer the EllevateHER program for the second year running to professional women that do not have the means pay for membership on their own,” said Kristy Wallace, Ellevate CEO. “We are excited to work with European Wax Center to provide the kinds of opportunities that can be crucial to career development to a more diverse community than ever before. We believe that by bringing more voices to the table and fostering an environment of inclusion, we will have a more positive and equal future for women in business.”
Applications for EllevateHER open March 19th and close on April 12th. Those awarded with a membership will be notified on the week of April 22nd, and their memberships will become active on May 1st. For more information on the EllevateHER Program, read Ellevate’s blog post about it here. To apply for the program, fill out this form.
Ellevate Network encourages you to share this application with your network, especially if you reach a population of women that is vulnerable to financial hardships or is systematically shut out of career development opportunities. Ellevate’s goal is to reach as many women as possible who could benefit from this program so as to maximize the EllevateHER program’s impact.
