Elpis World-Emerging Wearable Tech Company Nudging Fitbit, Apple
HONG KONG (PRWEB) August 28, 2018 -- Are there really other choices out there when considering buying quality, highly-advanced wearable technology other than a Fitbit or an Apple Watch? Yes, there is.
Consumers are quickly becoming much more educated when buying wearable technology and, in turn, are becoming more demanding for even more advanced features and functions, at an affordable price.
Wearable technology is the fastest-growing industry in the world and Forbes Magazine predicts the industry will become worth a staggering $34 billion by 2020.
Elpis World, a new highly-advanced wearable technology company headquartered out of Hong Kong, came blazing out of the gates on July 30 when they recently launched their Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. In less than 20 hours Elpis World had reached their $50,000 crowdfunding goal and have since well surpassed it.
Elpis World claims to have some of the most-advanced, most-affordable wearable technology available today. Their devices have up to 27 features and functions wrapped-up inside the tiny mechanisms users wear on their wrists, it’s difficult to list them all.
“The key to improving the quality of your life is to be able to become more aware of its immediate and current condition,” says Elpis World Founder and CEO, Bill Chee. “Readings from an Elpis device provides to you accurate monitoring of your heart rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen levels, while on the go, day or night.”
Blood Oxygen Levels? This is certainly something new.
Elpis devices have some impressive, well-advanced health-related functions, but they also have both fitness features and communication abilities, all rolled into the one device. Features include the mainstays of steps, calories burned and sleep, along with caller ID, text message ID with full text message display and SMS alerts. The devices are rated IP67 water resistant and dustproof.
What can not be overlooked is the sheer affordability of these devices. On Elpis World’s Indiegogo campaign their Signature model includes a GPS feature and is selling for a mere $88 (MSRP $159). Two other devices available now are the Ultra and the SideKick at only $119 (MSRP $179) and $129 (MSRP $199), respectively.
How are they able to keep product costs so low? Their factory is located in the hub of the world’s wearable technology manufacturing space, which allows them key positioning to stay abreast of what’s new in the way of wearable technology advancement.
Co-founder and Elpis World’s Global Channel Director, who manages their North American headquarters based in of Ontario, Canada, Jodi Thibodeau says Elpis is in position to stay on top of the industry. due to its location and their well-established relationships within the industry. “Staying ahead of the curve in the ever-changing, fast-paced wearable technology industry is no easy feat for any company. We are a compact company with razor-sharp focus. Elpis can turn on a dime at a moment's notice,” she says.
Often when most think of a Smartband they think of a Fitbit fitness tracker. When many think of a Smart Watch they think of Apple first. Is there room for more companies to infiltrate what seems to be a crowded industry? Elpis World certainly believes so.
“It is commonly believed the wearable technology industry is already flooded, however; this could not be further from the truth, “ says Chee. “We have so much more to offer to the world. There is plenty of room.”
Generally when one considers the wearable technology industry, which is barely ten years old, from a consumer’s standpoint there certainly could be some merit to Chee’s claim of the wearables industry being wide open.
“This is only the beginning. In early 2019, look out,” says Chee.
Elpis World will be revealing technologies many may not have even considered would be in existence and available so soon. Keeping an eye on this rising new tech company as they develop and grow will be worth watching.
