So far, the industry has been struggling to define and understand AIOps, including its benefits, requirements, and challenges. Our extensive data gathering, vendor dialogues, and 31 supplemental deployment interviews have brought AIOps into a new level of clarity.

Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), a leading IT and data management research and consulting firm, today announced it will host a webinar titled “Understanding AIOps in Context with Your Needs,” featuring Dennis Drogseth, vice president of research at EMA, and Ron Coleman, director of product management at BMC. This webinar will explore key insights from EMA’s recently-released Radar Report, “AIOps: A Guide for Investing in Innovation.”

Designed to assist IT professionals in selecting the right solutions for their specific needs, the report examines 17 vendors with cross-domain AIOps capabilities via questionnaires, interviews, and 31 documented deployments.

“All indications are that this is groundbreaking research,” said Drogseth. “So far, the industry has been struggling to define and understand AIOps, including its benefits, requirements, and challenges. Our extensive data gathering, vendor dialogues, and 31 supplemental deployment interviews have brought AIOps into a new level of clarity—one that underscores both its diversity and its richly beneficial common ground.”

The fact that AIOps is a market showing strong growth in value has been borne out time and again in EMA research over the past decade and remains true in this newest iteration of research on the topic. The message for IT organizations looking to pursue a forward path in AIOps adoption is overall a strongly positive one. The benefits achieved are growing in diversity and value. The obstacles remain similar since they reflect not only on a technology purchase, but also on processes, organizations, and cultural realities.

During this webinar, Drogseth and Coleman will discuss the current state of AIOps, business outcomes organizations should expect from implementing AIOps in their environments, and setting future expectations. They will also address:

  • How AIOps has evolved to become what it is today
  • The key criteria that defines AIOps based on EMA’s research
  • The benefits that AIOps deployments have succeeded in delivering
  • How organizations should approach the purchase of an AIOps platform for your unique environment

The webinar is Tuesday, October 13 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern. Registration is available at https://info.enterprisemanagement.com/understanding-aiops-in-context-with-your-needs-webinar-pr
