SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 02, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Emerge is pleased to announce that Jack Holmes, former CEO and President of UPS Freight, has been appointed as the new Chairman, taking over for Andrew Leto (Founder and Current Chairman).
"I am honored to succeed Andrew as Chairman of Emerge," said Mr. Holmes. "Emerge is the third successful company Andrew has founded (GlobalTranz, 10-4 Systems and Emerge). It's that track record and the product offering that makes me incredibly excited to help guide us to success moving forward."
Andrew's title moving forward will be Founder and he will continue to focus on product vision, strategy, capital raising, and investor relations. With a 12 year relationship of mutual trust and respect for one another, this isn't the first time Andrew has looked to Mr. Holmes to fill the Chairman role at one of his companies. In early 2017, Andrew appointed Mr. Holmes as Chairman of 10-4 Systems which was acquired by Trimble later that year.
"Jack Holmes is assuming this role based on his contributions thus far including: being a sounding board for the executive team, recruiting strong executive members, generating large-scale customers, and introducing and strengthening industry relationships," said Andrew Leto, Founder of Emerge.
Emerge has evolved from startup mode into a performing company led by an executive team that continues to grow in strength and recognition, including President Grant Crawford, former Vice President of International Operations for FedEx Freight, and CEO Michael Leto.
