The Containment Solutions, Inc. class action lawsuit, Case No. BCV-21-102972, is currently pending in the Kern County Superior Court of the State of California. The complaint alleges Containment Solutions, Inc. failed to compensate employees for all the time they were under Defendant's control. Employees were from time to time allegedly required to work longer than four hours without being provided their ten minute rest periods. Additionally, employees were allegedly required to work for more than five hours without receiving an off-duty meal break.
The complaint further alleges Defendant retaliated against Plaintiff. Plaintiff brought to the attention, of the Plant Manager and the Director of Human Resources, the allegation that Defendant failed to follow the California Labor Code regarding the payment of overtime wages. Allegedly, Defendant retaliated because of these allegations by denying Plaintiff job opportunities and placing unreasonable demands on Plaintiff's everyday work duties.
