Enhanced Medical Services Completes Acquisition of Vision Systems Inc.
St. Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) October 18, 2016 -- Enhanced Medical Services (EMS) has purchased the Tarpon Springs, FL based Vision Systems Inc. (VSI), becoming the largest reseller of ophthalmic equipment in the United States. This the third acquisition in three years for the steadily growing company and doubles their inventory, annual sales, and employee base. EMS has also purchased Burton Ophthalmic Inc., VSI’s private label ophthalmic equipment line.

In the terms of the deal, all VSI employees were retained and the owners of VSI will remain with the company. VSI will currently operate as a division of EMS.

The Burton private label line of ophthalmic equipment will be added to the EMS line-up of products with the acquisition. This extensive line of lane equipment includes chairs, stands, slit lamps, and more.
