Company to Roll Out, and Expand Immersive Digital Classroom Platform
CHICAGO, July 21, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Enduvo, an intuitive, immersive content authoring, and distribution platform has extended its relationship with the US Air Force. The company has been awarded a SBIR Phase III contract to build out additional capabilities for its immersive virtual classroom.
"It's an honor to work with cutting-edge organizations like the U.S. Air Force who have both the vision to transform training and the ability to execute on that vision," CEO Steve Garrou said.
Enduvo began its partnership with the U.S. Air Force with a CRADA (Collaborative Research and Development Agreement) where they proved their AR/VR content authoring program can deliver immersive learning environments that students enjoy.
Specifically, 80% of students were completely engaged with no distractions, finding the experience to be superior to traditional slide-based didactic learning; 90% would recommend it to their wingmen, colleagues, and friends.
As part of the Phase III contract, Enduvo will add enhancements to the platform that improve analytics and reporting functionality as well as the ability to measure engagement with non-immersive training content. More broadly, Enduvo will also integrate with other industry-leading partners involved with MOTAR: Discovery Machines, Inc., DYNEPIC, and HTXLabs.
Enduvo software is slated to become a core element of the U.S. Air Force's Discovery Analysis and Reporting Platform (DARP)/ Member Operations Training Analysis and Reports (MOTAR) Program of Record in FY 2024. USAF learners will have a single gateway from their digital classroom to their experiential learning. Trainers will now also be able to build immersive content in their digital classroom and connect with the MOTAR ecosystem.
"With the completion of a cooperative research and development agreement (CRADA), and the positive results that came from it, we have offered Enduvo a Phase III contract to expand the capability. Barring unforeseen circumstances, this capability could potentially become a foundational component of MOTAR," stated U.S. Air Force Maj. Jessie Johnson, Det. 23 commander.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for Enduvo. We are excited and ready to bring the immersive, digital classroom and Air Force training into the modern age," Garrou added.
