Energy Systems Names Will Barnes to Pacific Northwest Sales Team!
Auburn, WA (PRWEB) July 24, 2015 -- Energy Systems recently named Will Barnes as their Seattle Area Industrial Sales Person. As a distributor of Generac Industrial Generators, Energy Systems continues to grow their 34 year generator business, and Will Barnes is a knowledgeable and experienced addition to the sales team. Will Barnes was previously in the US Navy Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, graduating top of his class. Subsequently, Will was selected to become an instructor and teach officer and enlisted students in the theory, operation, and maintenance of the S8G Nuclear Power Plant, receiving several awards including a master training specialist designation. Will later transferred to Bangor, WA to serve on the trident class ballistic missile submarine USS Alabama, SSBN 731 gold crew. While serving on the USS Alabama, he conducted seven strategic deterrent patrols and received several letters of commendation for exemplary performance.
After discharge from the US Navy, Will shared his expertise, working as a power generation field service technician in Renton, WA, eventually becoming a service manager for inside and outside generator field service technicians. With his vast experience, Will accepted a sales position for a power generation commercial sales group, which sold gensets for many applications including; pleasure marine craft, portable, home standby, RV/commercial mobile, and air cooled engines. He moved to industrial generator sales, focusing primarily on industries associated with water, wastewater, and health care applications. His skills and experience afforded him the opportunity to sell for a variety of generator manufacturers and broaden the scope of customers to data centers and military.
In addition, Will was the east coast onsite energy sales representative for a national contractor and worked with them on numerous projects east of the Mississippi River. Will transitioned to their continuous gas power group and was responsible for introducing their line of natural gas, bio-gas, and landfill gas fueled combined heat and power (CHP) generator sets to a territory consisting of AK, WA, OR, CA, HI, ID, and NV.
Will resides in Covington, WA with wife Christy and enjoys cooking, photography and travel.
