Maher worked at large technology and digital corporates, where he spent over a couple of decades at SAP in several international senior executive positions for the energy & industries division and more recently as an executive officer at General Electric Digital. From 2014 – 2018, Maher served as the president of ESMIG, the European Smart Metering & Smart Energy Industry Group.
