ASPEN, Colo., June 24, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Engel & Völkers recently participated in their annual Volunteer Day with its partner, Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers (RFOV), to help mitigate the damage to the trails and wilderness left behind after the recent Grizzly Creek Fire in 2020. With the mission "BeliEVe, EVolve, PersEVere," associates of the company set out to clean, clear, and restore trails and frontcountry areas near trails that have been affected by some of the worst wildfires Colorado has seen in years. In addition to the cleanup, E&V strives to help keep the wild open for everyone to explore and cherish. Managing trails and their upkeep is a commitment the company holds dear, as Colorado and its mountains are defined by their beauty and accessibility.
"At Engel & Völkers we take pride in our state and the natural beauty that comes along with it. We feel that it's not only our responsibility as a company, but also as individuals, to maintain the forests and mountains so we can all share in the majesty that is Colorado," said Summer Berg, Managing Broker/Owner. "Engel & Völkers has maintained a close relationship with RFOV over many years and intends to continue this partnership for years to come by offering our time and resources to help with trail clean up and restoration, and provide assistance with fire mitigation and relief."
RFOV's theme for 2021 is "Renewing Landscape and Community through Collective Action" and to address these critical needs, Engel & Völkers has adopted the Lower Three Gulch Trail at the bottom of Mushroom Rock/Red Hill in Carbondale. This trail is one of the most visited trails by locals and visitors alike because of the rocky mountain views in all directions while overlooking the Town of Carbondale and majestic Mount Sopris.
"The outdoors are our greatest regional asset, and healthy landscapes make for healthy people. By participating regularly in RFOV conservation projects, the Engel & Volkers Aspen/Roaring Fork team not only accomplishes the necessary work of post-fire and trails restoration, but also advances a culture of stewardship that ensures our outdoors will remain vibrant for years to come. We're proud of our partnership with Engel & Volkers because a commitment to RFOV is a commitment to stewardship," said Jacob Baker, Engagement Manager, RFOV.
