Engel & Völkers Lake Tahoe a Sponsor at the American Century® Championship Celebrity Golf Tournament
Lake Tahoe, NV (PRWEB) July 18, 2015 -- The Engel & Völkers shop in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, led by the market’s top real estate professional Jean Merkelbach, announced their sponsorship in this year’s American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, July 14-19.
Competing in the tournament are more than 80 sports and entertainment celebrities, including TNT NBA analyst Charles Barkley, NFL MVP and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, actor and musician Justin Timberlake, actor and comedian Kevin Nealon, and a host of current pro athletes and retired Hall of Famers. A few of the players include past and current clients of Merkelbach who has sponsored the 9th hole of the event for the past 15 years.

The 26th annual American Century Championship is a made-for-TV event owned and broadcast by NBC Sports and is the premier celebrity golf tournament, which also raises funds for local and national charities. The event features a record purse of $600,000. The tournament is a 54-hole modified Stableford format that features some of sports’ and entertainment’s greatest celebrities.
