Entourage Events Group Partners with Camp Fire Minnesota to Better Utilize 104 Acres of Camp Land in Excelsior
This joint venture will provide Entourage with a unique event space while supporting the growing needs of Camp Fire and the youth they serve
MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 28, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Entourage Events Group announced today it has partnered with Camp Fire Minnesota to offer unique rental experiences in nature. Their partnership is reimagining Camp Fire Minnesota's wooded oasis on Lake Minnewashta, in Excelsior and creating nature-based events for family, corporate retreats, unique wedding celebrations and more. Entourage will begin hosting events at Camp Fire Minnesota in January of 2023. The venue now accepts bookings and has scheduled events for 2023 and beyond. Future packages include fat bike trails, dog sledding, snowshoeing, and ice fishing.
This unique partnership of a for-profit events company and a long-standing nonprofit is a unique situation. Camp Fire Minnesota will still use the property for their summer camps and other nature-themed events, while Entourage will use the area for off-season events to better use the 104 acre property.

Hark said he feels the wooded property, just minutes from Minneapolis, provides his company with a more diversified venue in its portfolio.
"We hope to not only have corporate events, but also school field trip events to fully utilize the site," said Hark. "We are very excited to begin hosting events and show off this wonderful property."
For Camp Fire Minnesota working with Entourage is another way to help strengthen its' programing which has helped countless children at the camp for nearly 100 years. Recently Camp Fire renovated its dining hall, which now can host events like weddings and corporate gatherings when camps aren't in session.
With the revenue generated by partnering with Entourage, Camp Fire Minnesota can ensure more children can take full advantage of its' many nature-based programs each summer.
"Last year, we had 1,700 youth on our camp waitlist and provided $110,000 in scholarships. Hark said he believes the versatility of the property will be a draw for many groups of varying sizes to explore nature minutes from downtown, while also giving back to a long-established organization like Camp Fire Minnesota.
