CANBY, Ore., March 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SANY America, Inc. has increased the availability of its construction equipment in the Pacific Northwest thanks to a new dealership agreement with Equipment NW in Canby, Oregon.
An offshoot of KHC Inc., a construction and contracting firm serving the region for 40-plus years, Equipment NW has offered service, maintenance and used equipment sales for the past three years. The opening of its 7,000-square-foot facility marks an opportunity for Equipment NW to further expand and grow, and offers customers in the region access to the full line of SANY construction machinery.
"For years we've bought equipment and hired in-house mechanics, and then started offering service for other contractors in the area," said Peter Hostetler, president of Equipment NW. "We've always bought and sold used equipment, but now we can offer maintenance and repair alongside reliable and durable SANY machines."
The new dealership location is housed in a historic 1940s-era building that was originally built for an agricultural machinery dealer. While many other businesses have called the building home over the years, the opening of Equipment NW marks a return to the structure's roots in heavy equipment. Hostetler has also worked with local officials to participate in a revitalization program and has invested in performing a complete improvement of the building – not only inside the showroom, but on the exterior facade as well.
In addition, Equipment NW is also the first dealership located in the state of Oregon, and is conveniently located just south of Portland, between Portland and Salem along the Pacific Highway. Previously customers would need to travel to neighboring Washington or Idaho for the closest dealer location. The opening of Equipment NW makes it more convenient for Oregon customers to not only find new SANY equipment, but also schedule maintenance or request warranty service if needed.

The updated facility also offers an indoor showroom space for customers to see equipment up close, no matter the weather outside. In addition, the team can handle repair and maintenance work on site or in the field with its mobile service truck.
