I am extremely humbled to be named alongside other passionate entrepreneurs who are dedicating their careers and time to address some of the world’s most pressing health challenges.
NEW YORK (PRWEB) December 04, 2018
Eric Frieman, co-founder of Veteran & First Responder (VFR) Healthcare and Co-CEO of Strive Health, has been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Healthcare list for 2019. Frieman cofounded VFR Healthcare in 2016 to provide intensive outpatient addiction and mental health treatment programs to Veterans, first responders and their families. In just two years, the company has expanded to five locations across four states and has served hundreds of clients with help from more than 60 employees. Earlier this year, VFR Healthcare also launched a first-of-its-kind partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to enhance veterans’ access to substance abuse and mental health services to reduce suicide.
Since 2012, the Forbes 30 Under 30 list has annually recognized 600 revolutionaries, risk-takers and the next generation of leaders under the age of 30 in the United States, Europe and Asia. The list includes 30 honorees for each of its 20 categories. This year, Forbes named Frieman to its 30 Under 30 Healthcare list for his efforts to increase the availability, affordability and quality of mental health and addiction services across the country.
“I am extremely humbled to be named alongside other passionate entrepreneurs who are dedicating their careers and time to address some of the world’s most pressing health challenges,” said Frieman. “My colleagues at VFR and I have seen firsthand the need for affordable and effective mental health and addiction outpatient treatment, particularly for Veterans, first responders and their families – and the consequences when it isn’t available. At VFR Healthcare we’ve made it our mission to make sure that our service members get care that they need so they can continue to work toward their own goals in the community.”
To accomplish this mission, VFR Healthcare has developed clinical programming designed specifically for Veterans, first responders and their families. All Strive centers proudly serve VFR Healthcare and offer a wide range of confidential, trauma-informed outpatient treatment programs and services, including intensive outpatient services.
