Eric P. Whittleton Appointed CEO of vThreat
Reston, VA (PRWEB) February 08, 2016 -- vThreat Inc., a leader in adversary simulation, today announced the appointment of Eric P. Whittleton as their new Chief Executive Officer. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Whittleton will drive the company’s go-to-market strategy and execution during this period of rapid growth.
Since vThreat launched in September 2014, Whittleton has worked closely with vThreat’s Founder and CTO, Marcus Carey, to help strategically align the company for growth and to be the market leader providing adversary simulation and security control testing applications to a global market. Whittleton also currently serves on vThreat’s Board of Directors.

With more than 30 years in technology management, Whittleton has worked as a systems engineer, account manager, business developer and C-level executive. Previously, Whittleton served as COO, President and CEO of Information Systems Support (ISS). During a ten-year timespan, Whittleton grew the company from less than $1M dollars in revenue and 8 employees to over $200M and 1100 employees. In 2006, Whittleton guided ISS through an acquisition whereby the company was acquired in a multi-million dollar deal. Post ISS, Whittleton was an EVP and GM at CACI. Upon leaving CACI, he has been providing C-level consulting services to various clients and investing angel capital into promising start up companies. He was the lead investor in the seed round for vThreat.
