SOFTPRO Announces Sign2Phone, an App That Converts a Smartphone into a Signature Pad
Westlake Village, CA (PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- SOFTPRO announces the availability of an electronic signature capture app, Sign2Phone, in the Apple App Store. Sign2Phone, when paired with SOFTPRO’s SignDoc Desktop or SignDoc Web esignature software, enables users to convert their iPhone into a signature capture pad. Support for Android will be available later this quarter.
"Sign2Phone puts electronic signature capture capabilities in the hands of anyone with a computer and a smartphone," explains Rodney G. Vesling, President and General Manager for SOFTPRO N.A. "Any field sales agent, retail outlet or branch office can adopt electronic signature software with minimal friction; Sign2Phone makes it easy to esign and leverages the ubiquitous nature of smart devices."
How it Works:
Users of SignDoc Desktop or SignDoc Web must download Sign2Phone from the Apple App store. Once downloaded, the following steps are taken:
1) Initiate the Process: When the user is ready to esign, they simply click on the signature field to activate the iPhone.
2) Pair the device with SignDoc: Sign2Phone will display a pairing code to be entered in SignDoc Desktop or SignDoc Web, depending on which software is used. The pairing process is only required the first time Sign2Phone is used.
3) Choose the Device: Once the one-time pairing process is completed, SignDoc will automatically detect and display the available mobile devices.
4) Encrypt and Transmit: The captured electronic signature is encrypted and transmitted in real-time to the application. The esignature will populate the pre-selected signature field.
