ESPN's Lindsay Czarniak to Host The Players Super Bowl Tailgate for Second Year
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) January 12, 2015 -- Bullseye Event Group, one of the nation’s leading Sports Travel package providers and event ticket companies, announces ESPN Anchor Lindsay Czarniak will return as Master of Ceremonies for The 2015 Players Super Bowl Tailgate.
Czarniak, who first hosted Bullseye’s exclusive pre-game Super Bowl party in 2014, will introduce the 25+ active NFL players in attendance, initiating short discussions with them similar to her Pick 6 interviews, a weekly SportsCenter segment on ESPN Front Row where she asks an NFL player three questions and the player reveals three things about themselves fans might not know. Czarniak’s engaging interviews have become fan favorites.
“Lindsay is known as ‘ESPN’s Katie Couric’ and we couldn’t agree more,” says Bullseye Event Group representative Kyle Kinnett. “Her rapport with the NFL players is why she is our first two-time MC.”
Czarniak joined ESPN in August 2011 as a SportsCenter anchor, also hosting SportsNation and NASCAR Now. In 2012, she joined John Anderson as co-anchor of the 6 p.m. ET SportsCenter. Prior to joining ESPN, Czarniak served as sports anchor and reporter at WRC-TV (NBC4) in Washington, D.C. anchoring daily sportscasts, reporting from major live events and hosting Sports Final, Redskins Report and the Coach’s Show with Mike Shanahan. She hosted and produced the sports-interview segment Lunch With Lindsay where she interviewed nationally known athletes, politicians and entertainers about topical issues, on and off the field. She also worked for the station’s parent network, NBC, reporting from the 2006 Winter Games in Turin, Italy, and the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing. She also served as a pit reporter and host for NBC Sports’ NASCAR coverage and sideline reporter for the networks’ Heads-Up Poker challenge.
