Steven Blackwell has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Executive Underwriter, and East Coast Director. In his expanded role, Blackwell will continue to lead underwriting initiatives while overseeing broker relationships and growth strategies throughout the East Coast.
Alex Braner has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Senior Underwriter, and Midwest Territory Manager. Braner will continue supporting ELSS's underwriting objectives while managing broker partnerships and business development efforts across the Midwest region.
These promotions reflect ELSS's continued growth and commitment to developing internal leadership. Both Blackwell and Braner have played important roles in expanding the company's underwriting capabilities, strengthening broker relationships, and supporting clients across the Life Science industry. Their new positions recognize the expertise, dedication, and leadership they have demonstrated throughout their tenure with the organization.

Retirement of David Bailey

Bailey has been instrumental in the growth and success of ELSS, helping to strengthen underwriting operations and build lasting relationships throughout the Life Science insurance community. ELSS thanks David for his years of service and wishes him a fulfilling and well-deserved retirement. Ryann Elliott will bridge the West Coast initiatives as a replacement is sought.
