Evensky & Katz Receives 2013 Trailblazer IMPACT Award™
Coral Gables, Florida (PRWEB) November 13, 2013 -- Evensky & Katz (E&K) was awarded the prestigious Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. 2013 Trailblazer IMPACT Award™. The Trailblazer Award is one of three IMPACT Awards given annually to celebrate excellence in the independent investment advisory community. The award recognizes a firm for its entrepreneurial spirit and drive to advance the industry's interests.

E&K was founded in 1985, and the firm has since grown into nineteen employees with offices in Miami, Florida and Lubbock, Texas. The donation will be received by the Coral Gables Community Foundation for the Evensky & Katz Gift Fund and the Motivated Youth Program. Thus far the gift fund has disbursed $200,000 to local children's charities.
