“I am so proud that we are helping raise awareness for the importance of event strategy,” says Event Marketer founder Kerry Smith. “And I’m thrilled that we’re continuing this partnership with a third year of content, collaboration and community efforts.”

Event Marketer and leading experiential marketing agency Opus today unveiled new elements in the industry’s largest and longest-running partnerships centered on event strategy. Plans include expanded education, all-new research and additional collaboration.

“I am so proud that we are helping raise awareness for the importance of event strategy,” says Event Marketer founder Kerry Smith. “And I’m thrilled that we’re continuing this partnership with a third year of content, collaboration and community efforts.”

In 2020, Opus and Event Marketer will activate:

Designed to accelerate the way brands approach, develop and execute event strategies, the executive seminar is open exclusively to client-side marketers and features speakers from such brands as Sephora, adidas, Dell and global trends agency, TrendWatching. INDUSTRY RESEARCH ON EVENT STRATEGY. After launching the inaugural 2018 benchmarking study on the role of strategy in event marketing, Event Marketer and Opus will unveil the 2020 follow-up—a benchmarking report focusing on the value, state and impact of event strategy across Fortune 1000 companies. The report will cover perspectives on a variety of topics essential to strategy.

EMS STRATEGY LOUNGE. To facilitate three days of conversations on event strategy throughout the Experiential Marketing Summit (May 11-13 in Chicago), Opus will host a Strategy Lounge, a hub for Executive Forum attendees to discuss all topics related to event strategy.
