The Department of Agriculture (USDA) awarded Evoke Consulting a 36-month task order under the ITGMSS Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide strategic consulting services to the Departmental Administration (DA). In partnership with DA, Evoke will develop a shared services model and enhance the IT Organization’s strategy, policies, and procedures, enabling delivery of effective administrative programs that meet USDA organizations' needs.
The Departmental Administration provides essential services for USDA in human resources policy and planning, procurement policy and operations, property management, homeland security, and small and disadvantaged business utilization. Leveraging best practices in IT portfolio management, enterprise architecture, and strategic planning, Evoke will help accelerate DA’s organizational maturity and achievement of the goals established by leadership. Further, Evoke’s experts will enhance the resilience and compliance of systems through an IT Security Roadmap and the establishment of asset management practices and procedures.
“USDA is a leader and change agent in the Federal IT landscape," says Greg Blaisdell, Evoke Managing Partner. “Stepping in at this early stage of the Departmental Administration’s growth and playing a critical role in developing the organization’s business model and roadmap for future success is an exciting opportunity for Evoke.”
Evoke Managing Partner, Jim Loreto, added, "Modernization is crucial for all Federal organizations to perform with optimal efficiency. Evoke provides thought-leadership to help transform important missions across USDA.”
