Excel Education Systems, Inc Acquires Washington Online Learning Institute, a Regionally Accredited Career College
Plymouth, MN Excel Education Systems, Inc. today announced the company has acquired Washington Online Learning Institute, a regionally accredited career college.
MINNEAPOLIS, April 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Excel Education Systems, Inc. today announced the company has acquired Washington Online Learning Institute, a regionally accredited career college based in the northeast region. The institute offers online undergraduate career certificate and diploma programs in legal studies, business, health care, and information technology. Washington Online Learning Institute is accredited by the Middle States Association, recognized by CHEA and the US Department of Education.
The WOLI headquarters will be relocated to Excel's global campus in Minneapolis, MN and will serve students worldwide. WOLI will undergo a rebranding process and will launch online programs summer of 2019.
As the new owner of the college, Excel Education Systems, possess the industry expertise, financial resources, systems, and human capital to improve student service and expand program offerings in the near future.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but the transaction is a straight cash deal and is not being funded by credit or outside investors.
