The two-credit, 4-semester course is designed to give students the necessary knowledge to pass the FAA Private Pilot Airplane (PAR) Knowledge Test. - How to compute weight and balance problems to properly load an aircraft
- How to interpret the Federal Aviation Regulation
- How to identify and predict dangerous weather phenomena
- How to read aviation weather reports such as METAR, TAF, and PIREPs
- How to successfully plan a cross-country flight
