Exelegent Growth Spearheaded by New VP of Sales and Marketing

Brian Toomey joins the company to spearhead sales efforts across the company, and kickstart a new chapter in helping clients in healthcare, finance, insurance, and beyond solving their business challenges using cutting-edge technology solutions.
Serving as Exelegent’s chief evangelist in the field, Brian brings with him over 25 years of technology solutions experience. “The choice was natural – it just felt right,” says Vasil Vykhopen, CEO of Exelegent. “Our customers have always seen Exelegent as a leader in the technology services space because of the experience we provide them. Previously, Brian headed Genband’s US Regional sales team and also served as the North American Sales Vice President for Westell, a provider of intelligent site solutions. He has held a wide variety of senior management positions throughout his career including leadership roles at AT&T, Nortel Network, Veraz Networks, and Corvis Corporation.
Brian earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York, and an MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University. In his current role, Mr. Toomey will report directly to Vasil, helping to drive the direction of the 7-year-old company.
