Expand Furniture Releases New Alzare Transforming Coffee Table
Expand Furniture, a space-saving furniture store based in Vancouver, releases a new transforming coffee table, the Alzare. The space saving table online retailer shares the storage benefits and design functionalities of the Alzare extending table.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Expand Furniture announced today that it has released a new transforming coffee table in its lineup of modern, space-saving furniture. The new coffee table, known as the Alzare, can transform from a simple coffee table to a small dining table or desk, or it can expand to seat up to six diners.
"The Alzare is a sleek and stylish table that will help people make more of the space they have, whether they are experimenting with smaller living or they just want to reduce the clutter that a full-size dining table can create," said Jared Joubert, co-owner of Expand Furniture. "We're pleased to add this gorgeous table to a comprehensive lineup of innovative, space-saving furniture."
The Alzare transforming coffee table looks like a low coffee table with a minimalist profile when it is in its basic form. It is 10 inches high and has a rectangular table top with chrome legs. When you are ready to use it as a table, you just raise it with the premium, hydraulic gas lift system that allows the legs that cross over each other to move closer together and become taller. The table can reach a height of 30 inches.
When the legs on the Alzare are raised, it can be used as is as a small desk for study or a dining table for one or two people. If you want to seat more people, the table top turns and folds out to create a larger, square platform that can seat up to six people. It is strong enough to hold up to 200 pounds of food and dinnerware.
The Alzare can be used in a space that performs multiple functions, such as a dining room that is mostly used for working from home. Or it can be moved from one space to another, such as from a living room to a dining area, by simply pushing it on the wheels that are hidden under the legs.
"We've tried to make the Alzare as easy to use as possible, thinking through all the ways that homeowners will need the table and what obstacles they might face in transforming or moving it," Joubert said. "We think we've come up with an inventive solution that is as stylish as it is functional."
Consumers also have the option to customize their Alzare through their choice of finishes. The transforming coffee to dining table comes in glossy white, chocolate walnut, or a drift wood panel finish. The finishes are water- and stain-resistant for easy maintenance and a longer life span. Other finishes are possible, and consumers are encouraged to email customer service to discuss their requests.
