With both transactional and litigation experience in workouts and insolvency of distressed loans, Gappmayer has comprehensive experience with every facet of the loan lifecycle. Both lenders and borrowers benefit from his ability to proactively assess business and transactional issues and recommend terms and strategies that protect value and mitigate risk. As General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for Summit Financial Resources, Gappmayer developed expertise in factoring and loans secured by accounts receivables, inventory, equipment, and other assets. He also gained extensive experience in advising clients on a broad spectrum of legal issues related to business, including corporate transactions and governance, business formation and structuring, contract drafting and negotiation, litigation, employment matters, and other general business needs.
