Expert Institute, the leading online platform connecting law firms with expert witnesses, announced today the launch of a company-wide rebrand featuring an updated logo, a new website, and a name change: the company dropped “The” from its former moniker, now known as Expert Institute.
“This new identity is a step into the future for the company,” said Michael Talve, CEO and Managing Director of Expert Institute, “we’re starting off a new decade with an engaging and polished look that matches the high level of service we’ve always provided our clients.”
Expert Institute’s rebrand initiative coincided with recent changes to the company’s technology offerings, namely, the development of Expert iQ, its first software solution. Expert iQ is a proprietary expert management platform that enables attorneys to manage their expert witness casework, schedule conference calls, and communicate directly with experts. The Expert iQ platform is set to formally launch at the end of the month.
Expert Institute’s new branding rollout also coincided with the opening of its Milwaukee office, now its third national location. The Milwaukee office serves as a hub for research and software development.
This rebrand afforded Expert Institute the opportunity to adopt a bright, bold website design. The site’s angles and curves echo its history of cutting through tradition. Human-centric photography alongside animated iconography speak to the company’s primary objective: building a data-driven approach to expert consulting.

The visual identity was developed through a collaborative process with Chicago-based design firm, Firebelly, which specializes in socially conscious branding and strategy. Together, the teams created a visual identity system that draws upon the same kind of strong, unconventional connections that drive Expert Institute’s business.
