Hundreds of affordable housing professionals—including developers, investors, syndicators, lawyers, accountants and others— will meet to discuss the current and future state of affordable housing finance at the Novogradac 2019 Tax Credit Housing Finance Conference, in Las Vegas, Dec. 5-6. Scheduled speakers will include Jennifer Schwartz from the National Council of State Housing Agencies, Claudia O’Grady from the Utah Housing Corporation and Jacob LaRow from Nevada Housing Division.
“This conference couldn’t come at a more important time as the affordable housing crunch worsens and Congress considers the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act and other legislation,” said Jeff Nishita, CPA, partner at Novogradac and conference chairman. “It is an ideal opportunity for the affordable housing community to come together and talk about strategies and best practices for 2020 and beyond.”
Conference panel topics will include potential impacts of federal legislation on development and operations, equity pricing and market conditions and a debt market update. Networking opportunities include a Newcomers’ Breakfast for those who are new to the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) or Novogradac conferences, and networking breaks between sessions.
