SANTA CLARA, Calif. (PRWEB) March 21, 2019
Taiwan Tourism Bureau is promoting its tourism theme of the year – The Charming Small Towns in Taiwan. A brand new Taiwan Pavilion is designed for the theme and is inspired by the iconic Zhiyang Gate of Miaoli Nanzhuang Lion’s Head Mountain (Mt. Shitou) with Hakka style decorations. Reputable partners including China Airlines, EVA Air, Mango Tours, J&V Travel, SITA and SuperValue Tours will join forces with the Bureau at the Santa Clara Convention Center to participate in the SF/Bay Travel & Adventure Show. Travel experts will be there to share unique itineraries to explore the charming small towns in Taiwan; current promotions for Taiwan tours and flights will be available.
Lucky participants will receive itinerary planning service discount from Journy and a special offer to receive an exclusive gift from the 5-star Palais de Chine Hotel in Taipei (for direct booking); there will also be a raffle drawing for a chance to win round trip flight tickets (SFO to TPE) from China Airlines and EVA Air or $500 value Taiwan tour package discount from the Bureau’s travel partners.
CBS’s popular reality show “Survivor” will be hosting a registration/casting call on the 23rd at 10AM. It will be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center’s Great America Conference Room. Adam Klein, winner of the show’s 33rd season, will be at the Taiwan Tourism Bureau booth for a meet & greet to share his winning strategies.
One of the most popular items at this year’s Taiwan Lantern Festival in Dapeng Bay – a special edition piggy bank handheld lantern – will be giveaways for event goers. Jin Tea Shop created an interactive tea challenge game and will be offering tasting of the exquisite Oriental Beauty Cold Brew Tea, Oolong Cold Brew Tea as well as tofu pudding and herbal jelly. Boiling Point, a Taiwan specialty restaurant, will also be there to introduce their mini hotpot. This will be a fun experience for everyone to taste and learn about Taiwanese food culture in person. For music lovers, don’t miss out on the Taiwanese Guzheng musical performance on Saturday 3/23 at 11AM and Sunday 3/24 at Noon.
