Facial Recognition Software for Churches Released By Face-Six
(PRWEB) June 08, 2015 -- Facial recognition software provider, face-six launched today a face recognition based desktop application, which allows churches to automatically identify members when they attend events and services. The software, called Churchix, recognizes pre-enrolled members when they appear in front of a camera. Churchix can identify people from live and recorded video as well as identifying members from still images.
"Our application," says company's CEO Moshe Greenshpan, "saves the church a huge trouble of manually registering its members when they attend events. Imagine keeping track of 3,000 event attending members. This is nearly an impossible task. Using Churchix," continues Greenshpan, "makes this task a walk in the park".
Churchix still photo version is being used by more than 30 churches in the US, Asia and Europe.
"Our newly video version makes Churchix a highly efficient tool in tracking and registering members' attendance. It can also be used to identify sex offenders and criminals attending events, making it a powerful security measure for the church," concluded Greenshpan.
Churchix provides the church with an attendance data on each and every member, a specific event and a group of events. The church can also accept or reject identifications, and manually update attendance when necessary.
Churchix accuracy can reach 99% with the right conditions, which are good lighting, good camera location and sharp image of faces in the video.
