NEW YORK, Jan. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, FanHub, the largest provider of casual, free to play sports-focused digital gaming platforms in the world, unveiled a new offshoot of their growing business, launching The Betchelor Fantasy Game by Betches, Presented by SkinnyPop. The game is a free to play Pick 'Em game that will follow along the new season of "The Bachelor" on ABC. Off the heels of a successful campaign in 2019 which saw high organic consumer generated content based on the partnership, Betches Media, a multi-platform entertainment destination for millennial women and SkinnyPop, a delicious, guilt-free popcorn with no artificial ingredients, are thrilled to continue to expand their partnership in 2020. The Betchelor Fantasy Game will tap into the highly engaged fanbase of Betches and Betches' podcast, The Betchelor, hosted by former Bachelorette heartthrob and Bachelor in Paradise winner Derek Peth and Betches' Social Media Producer, Kay Brown.
The first-ever The Betchelor Fantasy Game by Betches, Presented by SkinnyPop will have season and weekly episode questions, specific to "The Bachelor" season, calling fans to answer questions like 'how many women will dress like a pilot or flight attendant throughout the season?' and 'who will Peter propose to at the end of the season?'. There will be weekly and overall prizes for engaged participants, and the product will run over a 14-week period following each new episode of the show.
"We have seen in sports that a growing number of participants are women, and we wanted to find a niche in the entertainment space to expand the model we have built in sports, and the engaged fans of 'The Bachelor' seemed like a great place to start," said Phil De Winter, Head of Business Development at FanHub. "The passion for the entertainment verticals can equal or sometimes surpass that have sports, and we believe that this will be a great test for a new untapped market in fan engagement of a different kind." This follows on one of FanHub's many partnerships with The Sun, which was centred around Love Island, the leading UK reality TV show.
"At Betches, we only partner with like-minded brands that we know our audience would organically interact with," said Shoshannah Cutler, VP of Brand Partnerships at Betches Media. "After a successful partnership with SkinnyPop in 2019, we're thrilled to be expanding our partnership in 2020 to include a really engaging experience around The Betchelor podcast and upcoming season of one of our favorite shows with FanHub. We can't wait to see how our audience will interact with this!"
The latest partnership with Betches and SkinnyPop follows the success of similar global sporting platforms and brands which have embraced digital games and fan experiences as an entry point for the engagement of millions of new fans. FanHub's partners, from Buffalo Wild Wings to the NFL and Major League Baseball to the AFL and the ATP, have enjoyed a world class delivery of innovative digital sport experiences that have been seamless and beyond reproach. Even more growth for these products and more are coming in 2020.
