Farm Credit of the Virginias Welcomes Minnick to the Abingdon Branch

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) recently announced that Washington County native, Pam Minnick, has joined the Abingdon branch, filling the role of Customer Service Representative. Minnick joins the team with enthusiasm for her new role and experience in customer service to be a real asset to the Abingdon team.

Minnick was born and raised in Abingdon, Virginia. Her family ran a tobacco farm in Washington County for many years. Minnick graduated from Virginia Highlands Community College where she studied Accounting and Computer Information Systems.

Prior to joining the FCV team, Minnick served 8 years as a Bank Teller, and most recently, 11 years as an Administrative Assistant. Additionally, Minnick is an active volunteer for the Washington County 4-H program in which her children are members.

As a long-time Washington County resident, Minnick looks forward to the opportunity to aid in the success of her fellow community members in her new role with FCV. She shared, “Being born and raised in Washington County has given me knowledge of the area and the people, which will play a part in my success in this position. Farm Credit is a long standing business in our region. I was intrigued at the opportunity to learn more about the operational side of agriculture in my area and grow with a reputable company.”

Minnick continued, “I am excited to bring my experience in customer service to the FCV team, establishing meaningful customer relationships is one of the many cornerstones to a successful company.”
