Farmers National Company Announces New Northeast Business Unit
(PRWEB) January 19, 2015 -- As the nation’s largest independent mineral management firm with properties located in 40 states, Farmers National Company (FNC) is pleased to announce that it has expanded its staff into the Appalachia area, which includes parts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio.

Wes Turiano serves as Assistant Vice President - Oil and Gas Manager for the Northeast Unit and is responsible for managing the accounts and coordinating the regional marketing efforts. He graduated from the University of Richmond in 2002 where he received a double major in Economics and Political Science and was also was a member of the University of Richmond’s Men’s Varsity Golf Team. For the past several years, Turiano served as Vice President and Director of Mineral Management for S&T Bank and previously served as the bank’s Trust Business Development Officer.
Scott Porterfield serves as Assistant Vice President - Business Development Manager for Oil and Gas Management - Northeast Unit, focusing on marketing to individuals and institutions. He graduated from Geneva College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where he also was a member of the varsity basketball team. He also is a graduate of the Bucknell University Central Atlantic School of Banking and Commercial Lending.Porterfield has worked with a number of banks acquired through mergers including PNC Bank. For the past seven years, he was with S&T Bank in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where he served as Vice President of Mineral Management.
