Fast Circles, LLC Announces Formation; Launches EVOQ.BIKE P/B Enshored Elite Cycling Team Which Will Start Competing In Esports Events
Digital marketing and content company Fast Circles, LLC announces the formation of the USA based elite cycling team EVOQ.BIKE p/b ENSHORED.
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Digital marketing and content company Fast Circles, LLC announces the formation of the USA based elite cycling team EVOQ.BIKE p/b ENSHORED.
EVOQ.BIKE p/b ENSHORED will make its official debut in esports starting in November of 2019 by participating in races hosted on the leading virtual cycling platform ZWIFT, resulting in their first major target as a team: Winning the 2020 USA ZWIFT National Championship in February 2020.
The team's roster includes Patrick Walle and Brendan Housler, who are both elite competitive cyclists and co-owners of EVOQ.BIKE coaching. Holding multiple state and national level championships between them, Brendan was most recently the 2018 35 + USA Masters Road Racing National Champion. Rounding out the team roster are ZWIFT racing veterans Adam Zimmerman, Greg Leo and Neil Ostenfeld. Adam was the 2018 USA ZWIFT National Champion, Greg was ranked #1 in Zwiftpower.com for the 2018/19 season, while Neil placed 4th in the 2019 USA ZWIFT National Championship race.
EVOQ.BIKE p/b ENSHORED was originally conceived between Patrick Mahoney (also the co-founder and CEO of esports apparel company We Are Nations, Inc.) and EVOQ.BIKE's Patrick Walle and Brendan Housler. "I've been in love with competitive cycling for years," Patrick Mahoney notes. "So starting a team is something that I've always wanted to do. When I met Patrick and Brendan, around the same time that ZWIFT racing was getting popular, I knew that the timing to do this was perfect."
Founder and CEO Ian Jackson of Enshored.com, an Inc. 5000 global outsourcing firm based in the US and the Philippines, was the final piece of the puzzle. Mahoney and Jackson have known each other for more than a decade and have always wanted to do something together in cycling. "We finally decided to go for it this last June while standing along the road on Mount Baldy, CA, waiting for the AMGEN Tour of California to race by," remembers Ian. "Honestly, the deciding factor was the opportunity to enter esports"
The team riders are more than ready to add esports racing to their core competency. "The game is changing, and we're always up for a new challenge and adventure," said Patrick Walle. "While we started as traditional roadies, we've at least tried other avenues like cyclocross, crazy long endurance events, and gravel racing, but we never went full-in on e-racing. The ability to connect with large groups of people from around the world, while also staying connected with friends during the cold months, has us feeling more excited and dedicated to e-racing as we move into the winter."
