BOCA RATON, Fla., March 17, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Fast Guard Service, a leading private security and protection agency owned and operated by certified law enforcement officers, remains open during the COVID-19 pandemic, continuing to provide its variety of services including Hospital Security, Hotel Security, Event Security, Commercial Security, and more.
In addition, the company is implementing protocols and safety features to protect its client's business assets and lower their liability, particularly as employees are increasingly told to work from home and needing to take company-owned equipment off-property. In the event businesses are vacant for an extended period, Fast Guard Service will also protect the valuable equipment inside.
In response to the increasing concerns of COVID-19, localities across the country are proactively implementing preventative measures and are requiring mitigation plans for events in cities across the country. Following guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), mass gatherings, defined as a planned or spontaneous event with a large number of people in attendance that could strain the planning and response resources of the community, are being limited or canceled on a case-by-case threshold.

Fast Guard Service will be able to protect other event-goers from further spreading of the virus. The company observes the CDC's position that sick individuals should stay home, however, as a precautionary measure, it will also work with event organizers to identify spaces isolate staff or participants who become ill.
Fast Guard Service will continue to work closely with its clients, the event organizers, to follow an emergency plan, as per the interim guidelines from the CDC. This includes providing prevention supplies on-site at events for staff and participants, such as sinks with soap, hand sanitizers, tissues, and disposable face masks in the event there are persons starting to show symptoms.
Fast Guard Service operates in seven locations, which include Los Angeles, Austin, Phoenix, Chicago, Atlanta, Newark, and Manhattan, New York. Below are the event guidelines from each locality, based on the latest information available.
