FCC Naples at The Current is proud to announce the grand opening of The Current Shop in Naples, FL.

“Through The Current Shop we're able to sell select pieces of clothing, art, and home goods that help finance the loving, learning, open-minded, big-hearted communities of The Current, particularly Food Angels,” said Pastor Michael.

FCC Naples at The Current, a religious organization focused on helping individuals find their personal path to enlightenment, offers countless volunteer opportunities for everyone in the local community. During the month of November, The Current Shop opened in efforts to support The Current, Food Angels, and other church outreach programs.

“We opened The Current Shop for the same reason we started The Current Church and our Food Angels pantry: to fill a community need. At The Current, we understand that Jesus commands his disciples (students) to serve the love of God by serving each other—especially the disenfranchised. Living into this command inspired us to create Food Angels, our choice-style food pantry that now serves nearly 3000 individuals every month. As the pantry has grown under the terrific direction of Dara Albert, the variety of donations we receive has broadened—as well as the demand on our resources,” said Reverend Michael Junkroski, Senior Pastor of FCC Naples at The Current.

The Current Shop, located right next door to the The Current and Foods Angels, transpired when The Current started receiving other valuable donations, including designer clothing, newborn items, and more. As generous donations continued coming in, The Current realized they could sell the high-end items and raise money in the process to continue giving back to the community.

“Through The Current Shop we're able to sell select pieces of clothing, art, and home goods that help finance the loving, learning, open-minded, big-hearted communities of The Current, particularly Food Angels,” said Pastor Michael.

Pastor Michael brings a unique blend of life experiences and philosophies and challenges people to join him in meaningful discussions about God and the universe, ultimately learning about spirituality and religion in the 21st century. Join The Current and connect to a higher way of being human by volunteering and donating to the local community #CreatingCommunity.
