FEASTY Selected to Compete in the 2016 PYMNTS Amazon Alexa Tech Challenge
Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) May 04, 2016 -- FEASTY, powered by Cincinnati-based Zipscene’s consumer dining data, has been selected as one of 13 companies nationwide to compete in the PYMNTS/Alexa Tech Challenge— a first-of-its-kind, five-week challenge created in partnership between PYMNTS and Alexa, Amazon’s virtual assistant. Over the next five weeks, the selected companies will develop and execute a prototype that uses Alexa to solve a problem, remove a point of friction or otherwise add value to the payments and commerce system. Other companies selected for and competing in the challenge include USAA, Vantiv, Visa, Discover, Western Union and more.

FEASTY and the other participating companies will get up close and personal consulting and coaching from Alexa’s Chief Developer Evangelist, Paul Cutsinger, on how to bring their new ideas to life. Teams will also receive feedback on value proposition, positioning, business models and monetization from Karen Webster, PYMNTS CEO.

The 13 teams will unveil their prototypes on June 2, and awards will be presented for
