Mirum, the plant-based leather alternative, was unveiled earlier this year.
Leveraging the benefits of nature's existing strengths, Mirum is made with a closed-loop system that is free of petroleum-based plastics and produces zero waste. Their raw inputs are natural, biodegradable polymers and finished materials are never coated in polyurethane, unlocking the next era of sustainable design that does not compromise on quality.
Mirum is produced by Natural Fiber Welding, Inc., (NFW) a current participant in the Fashion for Good Scaling program and a company funded by and spun out of the Department of Defense.
