Fenstermaker Welcomes the New Year with Four New Survey Associate Directors
(PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- Fenstermaker internally announced the appointment of four new Survey Associate Directors in the Lafayette office shortly before the Christmas holidays. On the cusp of 2014 and continuing the year’s robust efforts to expand their locational and market reach, the company officially confirmed the promotion of these veteran managers to strategic leadership positions. Marc Broussard, the firm’s Lafayette Survey Operations Leader, was pleased to introduce Lolly Brasseaux, Danielle McMath, Jeremy Soirez and Tim Fontenot in their new roles. He expressed that this is a pivotal first step in his overall plan of elevating Lafayette Survey's operational efficiency and structure.
Of the four new Associate Directors, Lolly Brasseaux has been with Fenstermaker the longest, originating as an Engineer Aide in 1977. Expanding his career for the next 36 years, Mr. Brasseaux rose to become a Senior Engineer Aide and Project Manager before trading in his design blueprints for a spot on the survey team. With solid experience supervising projects and client relations, he quickly obtained his Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of Louisiana and rose to various managerial positions within Lafayette Survey. Most recently, Mr. Brasseaux spearheaded Fenstermaker’s efforts in the Marcellus Shale area by serving as its Regional Program Manager of Northeast Operations and running both office and field operations in Pennsylvania from 2011-2013. Since returning to Lafayette, LA, and becoming an Associate Director, he is back to leading his team in administering survey and mapping tasks for significant pipeline projects.
Danielle McMath, a member of Fenstermaker’s Lafayette survey team since 1997, began as a Survey Technician promptly after receiving her B.S. in Industrial Technology. In the nearly 17 years following, she has proven to be an invaluable asset to the company as an effective project manager, dedicated team leader, and exceptional client manager. Her investment and accountability in the success of both her clients and team members has made her an exemplary Survey Manager since 2006. Working primarily on major well location, unit survey, and pipeline projects in Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico and Ohio, Ms. McMath is well-prepared to become more involved in decision-making processes to expand Lafayette Survey’s operational efficiency and business potential. Her success derives from a daily commitment to help her team grow professionally and ensure that her clients achieve their project goals. Beyond that, Ms. McMath says she is most proud of her successful 10-year partnership with Chesapeake Energy, one of Fenstermaker’s top long-term clients.
Tim Fontenot, who celebrates his 10-year work anniversary at Fenstermaker later this year, started as a Survey Field Party Chief from 2004-2006. From there, he became a Survey Technician in the Lafayette office and eventually progressed into a Project Manager in 2008. With an initial 1999 diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from the T.H. Harris Technical School, Mr. Fontenot has continued expanding both his professional and educational background. In 2008, he became a registered PLS in the State of Arkansas and plans to obtain additional licensure in Louisiana and Texas. Most recently, Mr. Fontenot received his Bachelors of Science in Business Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL) in December 2013. Currently, he oversees projects focused on well locations, pipeline work, and unit surveys.
Jeremy Soirez joined Fenstermaker in 2006 as a Survey Technician with a B.S. in Agricultural & Biological Engineering from the Louisiana State University (LSU). Becoming a Project Manager and team leader in 2010, he went on to take Civil, Survey & Mapping courses from T.H. Harris to fulfill requirements in becoming a PLS in Louisiana (January 2011). This year, Mr. Soirez has his sights set on becoming a licensed surveyor in the States of Texas and New Mexico, and he is eager to play a larger role in developing initiatives that will help the Lafayette survey team streamline operations and grow as a business. Today, Mr. Soriez’s major responsibilities include directing projects involving multi-lateral well site surveys; pipeline planning, routing, and as-built surveys; and facility layout and construction surveys.
Concerning the main responsibilities expected of his new Associate Directors, Mr. Broussard is fully confident of their technical and management experience and looking forward to their increased role in assisting him with strategic planning initiatives in the New Year. Beyond continuing to oversee their respective projects and fostering their team’s talents, they will lend direct support to existing Directors and take over facets of managing Lafayette Survey’s resources and directing daily activities. Other major tasks include collaborating to establish effective, safe operating procedures and processes, keen evaluation and management of team strengths and performances, and finding new ways to bolster client satisfaction.
