To build awareness and education around infertility during National Infertility Awareness Week on April 21-27, Fertility Centers of Illinois offers free events and Fertility Awareness Checkups
CHICAGO, April 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Fertility Centers of Illinois will recognize National Infertility Awareness Week (April 21 through April 27), in an effort to unite millions of Americans aiming to remove the stigmas and barriers associated with infertility that people face when building families. To support this initiative, Fertility Centers of Illinois is offering seven free physician-led webinars and free Fertility Awareness Checkups, a $90 value.
According to RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, one in eight couples experience infertility issues. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine also states that infertility impacts men and women equally, with the male partner as either the sole cause or a contributing cause of infertility in 40 percent of couples.
"The message we want to send is that infertility is common and it is treatable," explains Dr. Allison K. Rodgers, a board certified reproductive endocrinologist with Fertility Centers of Illinois who overcame secondary infertility and pregnancy loss to have a family. "The more people know about their fertility and the options that are available, the more empowered they are towards the goal of a family."
Free Fertility Awareness Checkup: All Fertility Awareness Checkup appointments booked now through June 30 will be free, a $90 value.
