'We have recognized for some time now that the Bend-to-Portland market is being underserved. Though there are travel options currently available for making that trip, none of them provide the level of service that we know many of the Bend and Portland travelers want. We are excited to roll this out and provide the first-class experience we are known for to our friends and neighbors in Bend," said Joseph Gillis, Northwest Navigator's CEO.
In the beginning, the company wants to serve the traveling public during the busy holiday season and give passengers a chance to experience their service, luxury, and convenience at a discounted rate. Their preliminary rate of $50 will offer all of the elite services of the first-class travel experience at a great rate.
"We know that during this time of year there are a lot of people going back and forth between Portland and Bend for the holidays. From shopping trips to college students going home for the holidays, there is a lot of traffic over icy passes. We are excited to be able to launch now and serve these travelers, with safe, luxury and stress-free travel," Mrs. Gillis remarked.
Motorcoach transportation is the safest form of group transportation on the road and Northwest Navigator has the highest safety rating possible from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). "In addition to making travel more comfortable and convenient for our passengers, we want to make it safer for them too," said Joseph Gillis. "We are proud of our coaches and our Motorcoach Captains. When the weather gets bad out there, there is no one we would rather have out there on the roads than our highly trained and qualified Navigators," he added.
