As a result, these units operate more efficiently than any fixed speed, hot gas bypass chiller in the 40 to 60 ton range.
Available as air cooled or water cooled models, this new “green” design applies proven, variable speed compressor technology from the HVAC industry to produce up to 50% energy savings over traditional hot gas bypass regulation. These energy cost savings can pay for new chiller investments in less than 3 years. In addition, utility companies frequently offer purchasing incentives and rebates.
