Heading into the new year on the shoulders of a strong 2019, the Reveal Mobile team, our customers, partners and associates couldn’t have imagined we would end the quarter amidst a global pandemic.

Even with the unprecedented headwinds of the novel coronavirus outbreak, we brought on dozens of new customers, delivered multiple new product features and continued to generate record interest in our products this past quarter.

The advertising industry is going through a series of changes, some of them accelerated by COVID-19. According to the IAB, audience based targeting is the tactic most likely to see an increase in ad spend over the next several months as a direct response to the coronavirus outbreak.

In this context, we want to share a few of the highlights from Q1. Compared to the same quarter last year, revenue is up 86 percent and new MRR is up 56 percent over Q4 of last year. In addition, we strengthened relationships with a number of large customers who make use of various Reveal Mobile products to enable their sales, product and marketing teams with location-based analytics, audiences and attribution.

While the conferences we planned to sponsor and speak at have been postponed due to COVID-19, we produced a total of nine webinars in the quarter, several of which included public demos of VISIT Local, where agency and brand growth leaders got a chance to see the product up close and ask questions about how it can help them win new business, better serve clients and deliver a more robust return on ad spend.

Also in Q1, Reveal Mobile CEO Brian Handly was cited in eMarketer’s 2020 Location Intelligence report. We also provided location-based marketing perspectives, trends and practical advice in Forbes and StreetFight

On the product front, we lifted the cap on audience downloads for all current VISIT Local customers to help them reach people with critical messages about changes in business hours, special offers and other just-in-time notifications related to the coronavirus outbreak.

Throughout the quarter, we also saw a high stickiness score for users of VISIT Local, with 80 percent of active customers using VISIT Local every week -- a testament to the value of audience based targeting that the IAB asserts.

Growth continues from a customer and an employee perspective. In Q1, we added five new people to our engineering and sales teams to stay ahead of market requirements and rising demand.
