First Bank Uses Home Loans to Support Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children
Plano, TX (PRWEB) May 07, 2017 -- First Bank, a strong advocate for community outreach, has committed to make continual donations to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. For every loan closed over the next several months, First Bank will donate a portion of their profits to the hospital, in an effort to aid the children that struggle with orthopedic and developmental conditions.
Established in 1921, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children has long been considered a world leader in treating children for orthopedic conditions such as scoliosis, clubfoot, hand and hip disorders, limb length differences, as well as sports injuries, certain neurological disorders, and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. The hospital is not considered a United Way agency and therefore does not receive state or federal funding, relying on the generosity of individuals, organizations, foundations and corporations, such as First Bank, to continue its mission of treating children and helping families.
"All of us at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children are so proud to partner with First Bank, a wonderful local business that has been providing the same type of personalized ‘care’ for its customers for more than a century as Scottish Rite Hospital has for our patients since 1921,” said Scottish Rite Hospital’s Vice President of Development, Stephanie Brigger. “First Bank's generous support of our kids is a great fit, and we are proud to welcome them into our Scottish Rite Hospital family!"
Mandi Vert, Vice President of Operations for First Bank, says, “I am proud to partner with an organization such as Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Supporting the community is paramount to First Bank and we are happy to commit to ongoing donations to help the hospital and its children fight for the childhood they deserve.”
