TOWSON, Md., April 30, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Russett Community Association, in partnership with the leading residential property management company in North America, FirstService Residential, held a "Clean up & Green Up" event on April 24 to clean up the community in recognition of Earth Day.
"I am so proud of the collective efforts of our associates and partners at Russett," said Michael Mendillo, president, FirstService Residential. "This incredible team of volunteers and associates has made a significant impact on the local community through their extensive clean-up efforts."
With the support of Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman and numerous local companies, over 125 volunteers came together to clean up trash in the community and surrounding areas. Clean Harbors, Maryland City Public Library, Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works, BrightView Landscaping, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Robin Marshall Dance Instruction were all among the local organizations who contributed a total of over 500 volunteer hours among the individuals who participated.
