North Broward Radiologists To Attend Broward Health Foundation’s Black-Tie Ball Fundraiser
(PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Today, North Broward Radiologists, P.A., announced its continued commitment to the South Florida community by sponsoring a table at Broward Health Foundation's event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, May 3rd.
Proceeds from the "Salah Foundation Broward Health Ball" will benefit all hospitals in the Broward Health healthcare system. Programs and initiatives include improvements to the intensive care unit and emergency waiting areas at Broward Health Medical Center, the progressive care unit at Broward Health Imperial Point, cancer services at Broward Health North, women and children's services at Broward Health Coral Springs and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Chris Evert Children's Hospital.
“North Broward Radiologists is proud to once again support the Broward Health Foundation and its commitment to provide the necessary resources to improve the health of the Broward County community,” said David H. Ring, Jr., MD, President of North Broward Radiologists. Doctor Ring is on the Board of Directors of the Broward Health Foundation.
Six members of the practice will join 600 guests attending the Philanthropy Rocks themed event, which will feature an evening of live music, cocktails, dinner, dancing and silent auctions. Representing North Broward Radiologists will be Eric Alboucrek, DO, Joel Erickson, MD, Shawn Fibkins, MD, Linda Hughes, MD, George Koshy, MD, and Heather Sher, MD.
Among the evening's highlights will be the paddle bid, where guests can make a tax deductible donation directly benefiting the renovation of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Chris Evert Children's Hospital. A special video presentation about the NICU will precede the bidding, and guests will have the chance to name one of the 63 individual rooms in the planned renovation project.
