Republican James ("Jim") Pruden has entered the 2022 race for US House of Representatives representing Florida's District 22 in a challenge for Democrat Ted Deutch's seat
PARKLAND, Fla., Oct. 4, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Republican Florida Attorney James ("Jim") Pruden announced today that he is officially running in the 2022 election for U.S. House of Representatives representing Florida's District 22, setting up a challenge to Democrat Ted Deutch.
In addition to filing with the Federal Election Commission, the campaign has also turned up a powerful website that both takes aim at what Pruden identifies as the Democrat Party's movement into extreme socialism as well as defines a definitive campaign platform on the more pressing national issues. The Website, http://www.JimPrudenForCongress.com contains both a video of his announcement as well as text outlining his Keep America Free platform.
The move was expected as Pruden had already garnered significant recognition and support in the prior 2020 election as the Republican Party candidate for District 22. As such, this campaign is postured to be one of the more closely watched in the 2022 cycle. Pruden commented that, "Aside from distressed Republicans, many of the District's Independents and Democrats have become increasing fearful and dissatisfied with the current administration's alarmingly poor performance as well as its extremist move to transform the U.S. into a socialist state." The result will be both oppressive and unrecognizable to our society.
Pruden is personally making an initial contribution to his campaign in excess of $20,000.00; and during October, the campaign will be announcing a campaign kickoff event.
Pruden, who has been a resident of District 22 for 40 years, has numerous professional and academic accomplishments including him receiving Bachelor of Science, MBA and Juris Doctor Degrees. His professional experience consists of an aggregate of more than 45 years in business, technology, executive management, and law, with the last 24 years as a practicing business attorney and commercial litigator appearing before the state and federal trial and appellate courts.
