BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb. 23, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Florida Probate Law Firm attorneys Tommy Walser and Mike Bracchi support the non-profit The Pet Project, whose mission is to preserve the bond between people and their companion animals when pet owners have financial or health challenges that prevent them from effectively caring for their pet.
"We are delighted to support organizations that contribute so much to our local community and that is why we contribute financially both personally and through our law firm" Walser stated.
Bracchi—a Wilton Manors City Commissioner—said, "The Pet Project is a local organization that operates from Wilton Manors, but provides services throughout south Florida." The Pet Project is also affiliated with Hidden Treasures Thrift Boutique, whose proceeds all go to ongoing efforts of The Pet Project.
"Their dedication to helping families and pets prevents a multitude of pets from needing to be voluntarily surrendered to animal shelters" said Bracchi. Having pets growing up and now having a two-year-old yorkie, Bracchi understands the attachment people have to their pets, and never wants someone to have to give their pet to an animal shelter because they can no longer financially afford to maintain them.
Walser has also been involved in helping the organization with their Pet Legacy program, which provides long-term, permanent care when someone is no longer able to care for them. Walser has also spoken at some of their donor meetings on the importance of pet legacy.
