PARKLAND, Fla. (PRWEB) October 07, 2019
Republican Florida Attorney James (“Jim”) Pruden announced today that he has concluded his exploratory committee and is officially running in the 2020 election for U.S. House of Representatives representing Florida’s District 22, setting up a challenge to Democrat Ted Deutch.
Pruden filed his campaign committee paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission on the 2nd of October and turned up a powerful website today that both emphatically takes aim at what he identifies as the Democrat Party’s new direction into extreme socialism and defines a definitive campaign platform on the more pressing national issues. The Website, http://www.JimPrudenForCongress.com contains both a video of his announcement as well as text outlining his Keep America Free platform.
The move was expected as Pruden has rapidly garnered significant support for a Congressional bid over the past couple months. This campaign is postured to be one of the more closely watched in the 2020 cycle as it is in the Palm Beach and Broward County areas which can significantly affect the outcome of Florida’s direction in the Presidential election.
Pruden could not immediately be reached for comment on Thursday, but his campaign has disclosed that Pruden personally made an initial contribution to his campaign in excess of $50,000.00; and during October, they will be announcing a campaign kickoff event.
Pruden, who has been a resident within District 22 for 38 years, holds a Bachelor of Science, a MBA and Juris Doctor Degrees. His experience consists of an aggregate of more than 45 years in technology, executive management, business and law, with the last 22 years as a practicing commercial litigator and business attorney.
